2008 was her 30th class reunion marking her graduation from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph. She has never regretted her choice of career and she still loves coming to work. Her husband and four children, (two sets of twins), are very grateful she’s able to endulge her passion for animals at work and that she doesn’t have to bring them home. Veterinary medicine has changed dramatically in the past 30 years. We are better able to maintain our pet’s health with increased pain control, safer anesthetic options, better diagnostic tools and newer surgical techniques resulting in longer and better quality of life. One of the greatest things that has changed is the team approach to veterinary care. This includes the front desk staff, the technicians, kennel staff and other support help which make my job much easier and more effective.
