Amanda joined our team in April 2008 as a kennel attendant and from there moved to reception. Amanda has recently been promoted to office manager. After completing her animal care certificate at Sheridan college, Amanda took a few years off school to work at a standardbred racehorse farm as barn manager. In 2001 the farm closed and she decided to go back to University. Amanda completed both her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science at UPEI. Amanda was recently accepted into Medical School to become a human doctor but has realized her true passion is with helping people and there furry family members. She has worked in many large and small animal practices on and off since highschool. The majority of the time you may find Amanda at the front desk willing to help you with any concerns that you may have with your pet. She is passionate about client care, patient care and continuing education. Amanda resides in Angus with her 1 of many family pet cats Nicki and rabbit Thumper. Amanda looks forward to meeting you and your family pet.
