Dr. Hibbs graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2010. Since then, she has practiced companion animal medicine. In May 2012, Dr. Hibbs joined the team at Aldergrove, but her history at the clinic goes back much longer. When Dr. Hibbs was a student in high school, she dreamed of pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, and did a co-operative education placement at Aldergrove. Her time there, confirmed this was the job for her! She is thrilled to be pursuing a career she is truly passionate about, in her home town. Dr. Hibbs has a particular interest in preventative medicine and surgery.
When Dr. Hibbs is not at work, she enjoys traveling, gardening, reading and learning to fly her dad’s ultralight airplane. Dr. Hibbs shares her home with her partner Ryan, her step-daughter Aurora and their five fur-babies: Cooper – their wise old Beagle, Finley – their ever so loveable Labrador Retriever, Callie – their sassy Beagle, Colonel Jack – their spunky orange Tabby cat and Super Charlie – the brown Tabby cat, that thinks he’s a dog. They have fish too!
